Nurse Deanne Youngblood
Dear Webmaster,
I would like to send you a portion of a letter that was sent to Cleveland
Regional. It is very rare to good excellent medical care these days. Nurse
Deanne Youngblood is a very professional caregiver. Brandi had quite a
few problems that were immediately solved by Nurse Youngblood. I just wanted
to let you know that there is one nurse at Cleveland Regional that is the
top of the line in nursing care.
Thank you!

Re: Deanne Youngblood, RN
I know that you probably receive quite a few letters complaining about the
service received in your hospital. I am not one of those letters. I would
like to commend one of your staff for their outstanding performance and quality
service. Her name is Deanne Youngblood.
My daughter, Brandi Miller, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Friday,
11-14-03. In your hospital. Dr. Keith Spooner and your nurse, Deanne Youngblood,
gave a fine example of professionalism and warm hearted/old fashioned care
to a first time mother. Brandi was expecting the experience to be devastating
and painful, but Nurse Youngblood was an excellent example of what a nurse
should aspire to be. Her demeanor and professionalism was outstanding. I
am currently going to school to become a nurse myself. I pray that I am half
the nurse that she is. I have never met a finer nurse than Deanne Youngblood.
I just wanted you to know that I overheard a conversation that Deanne Youngblood
and another nurse were having. Mrs. Youngblood had just had a phone call
that her 7 yr old boy had just knocked out his two front teeth at school.
When I heard that, I told her to go to her son. She replied, I will not leave
my patient as she is too close to delivery. And she didn’t. That kind
of dedication is rare. You could tell that she was upset about her son but
she never wavered in her care for Brandi.
I wanted to write this letter so that she gets the recognition that is so
sorely missed these days. Many people just want to complain about everything
and they seem to miss the good things that happen. Nurse Deanne Youngblood
is one of those good things that just happen. Thank God for people like her.
She is an example for us all.

Nurse, Deanne Youngblood
